Get Ready for a Celestial Spectacle: How to Capture the Rare Planetary Alignment

But where and when can you see this incredible planetary alignment? The good news is that it will be visible from anywhere on the planet, including North America. However, the best time to observe it is in the early hours of the morning, just before sunrise. For North America, the event will be visible in the eastern sky around 5-6 a.m. EST.

To get the best shot of this rare planetary alignment, you'll need to plan ahead and make some preparations. Here are some tips to help you capture a stunning image:

Find a location with a clear view of the eastern horizon: To get an unobstructed view of the planetary alignment, find a location away from city lights, tall buildings, and trees that can interfere with your view.

Use a tripod: A tripod will help stabilize your camera and reduce camera shake, resulting in sharper images.

Use a wide-angle lens: A wide-angle lens will allow you to capture as much of the sky as possible and include more of the planetary alignment in your image.

Experiment with camera settings: Start with a wide aperture, a high ISO, and a long exposure time. You may need to adjust these settings based on the brightness of the planets and the amount of light pollution in your area.

Be patient and persistent: Capturing a great image of the planetary alignment takes time and patience. Be prepared to spend some time experimenting with different camera settings and compositions, and don't give up if your first attempts don't turn out the way you want.

Remember, photographing the rare planetary alignment happening on March 28th requires preparation and patience, but the results are well worth it. Remember if you miss the date, you can catch a day before and after. As well as catching it again on June 17, 2023. So grab your camera, find a clear view of the eastern horizon, and get ready to capture a stunning image of this once-in-a-lifetime celestial event.
